Our Story
On a hot summer day late July 2020, Kristen was franticly running late for the first time in her life to a date with a boy she met on Hinge. Evan had picked the James Room on the Beltline because they were known to have excellent gin drinks, Kristen's favorite. When she walked up, Evan was amazed at what he saw. They nervously laughed and exchanged small talk for the first 5 minutes, until a strange man approached their table.
He was a street poet ready to share a piece that reminded him of the two before him. He recited a poem of love, commitment, marriage, and happiness. They blushed and nervously laughed as he went about his way. "A little much for a first date," they thought.
They became inseparable, traveled the world, and indulged in life's adventures. After two years together, Evan dropped to a knee on the shore of Lake Jackson in the Grand Tetons. She said yes, and they've been wedding planning ever since.
